i've not successfully installed wemod with lutris. but i can launch stand alone trainers with lutris and heroic games launcher

are you using proton? or wine? how is the game installed?

@@GrownUpGamingGUG game is installed in ubisoft but I redirected it to steam. I enabled it with proton experimental.

@@rickyneeter69 are you on steamOS stable 3.5.19? Maybe people told me beta 3.6.8 has issues with protontricks.

it's fine on my side. maybe your router is blocking it or your isp is blocking this site? not really sure.

@@jayy2676 but when I played it, it was great because coming from Xenia canary, this is a big improvement. And if you watch the video, I don't feel any choppyness.

@@GrownUpGamingGUG The lutris discord people gave me a list of steps on how to fix it but somebody else on the discord told me to just restart the deck and that fixed it

It works fine, I've just used it recently for stardew valley 1.6.

If done correctly the service starts when you boot automatically.

@@shoelover2145 if you're using emudeck, the emulators are already Linux apps so you can't use proton. You only use proton to run windows apps on Linux.

Oh really? Got a list of which games are moddable and which are not?

@@GrownUpGamingGUGit's weird like OG Skyrim has workshop support but Special Edition doesn't. The Witcher 3 supports the workshop but Cyberpunk doesn't. I wish there were more consistency. I'm on Linux, which means that the workshop is the only simple, easy way to mod games. Other methods usually don't even work.

What's workshop?

@@GrownUpGamingGUG The Workshop is steam's native mod catalog. You can super easily "subscribe" to mods for games that support it. You don't even have to leave Steam. Like I said, this is basically the only simple way to mod games on Linux.

But it doesn't sound like it has compatibility with many games as you mentioned above and those games like Skyrim se and cyberpunk can be modded on like I have done in this video.

The prerequisite for this mod is the game needs to be dx12 and native dlss2/dlss3 support.

Most likely in the wrong location.

@@GrownUpGamingGUG no it’s exactly where you said to put it, and my firmware is both in emudeck’s firmware folder and yuzu, I see no reason why it shouldn’t work? I’m on firmware 18.0.1 and the latest keys

Some trainers downloaded from the internet don't work. Try some others.

It says I need an active Internet connection and gives me the option to retry or do a manual download.

You downloaded a fling trainer it's actually a wemod installer. Try getting another trainer that's bigger than the 140kb file you got.

Get the 3.1 version of the mod.

Just use both, they're free. Some games are better on yuzu and some are better on ryujinx.
